Simultaneous Games presents the latest works by EstefanÃa Landesmann. Curated by Jorge Macchi, the exhibition poses a reflection on the photographic language, questioning conventions of the medium such as the eloquence of the image, its bidimensionality, its ability to objectively register or even the debt that drags with the painting.
Fleeing to a place between sculpture and installation, this set of visual and montage operations show situations that the artist discovers in seemingly insubstantial spaces: places where light, textures, colors, scales and enigmatic compositions of objects and architectures reveal the dignity of what resists being named or how the extraordinary, sometimes, camouflages itself in the common. More than an answer about why we insist on representation to access the unknown, Simultaneous Games invites the viewer to experience the infinite folds of reality.
